Gussie Shanahan Missing 16 Years

Today Thursday 11th February 2016, Gussie Shanahan is 16 years missing from Limerick City. The last image of him is a black and white video footage of him leaving Cooper’s bar on Joseph Street Limerick on Friday 11th February 2000 at 23.28. Outside there is a parked car with a woman sitting in it and Gussie walks in front of the car as he crosses the road. That was the last that was seen of him. No one has come forward to Gardai as yet to say that they met Gussie later in the night. No other CCTV footage is seen of him in any other streets in Limerick that we know of. It is as if he never left that area. There are so many questions which have never been answered despite the best efforts of many. His family want to lay him to rest.

If you have any information on him, please phone the Garda Confidential line 1800 666 111 where information can be left on an answering machine or to Roxboro Garda Station: Tel 061-214340. Information can also be passed on through the National Missing Persons Helpline 1890 442552 or sent by email to the webmaster of this website info@missing.ie

We remember this week, all of Gussie’s family
