Comments: It is so sad that Deirdre Jacob has been missing since 1998 and has never been found. When i am in Newbridge I always think of Deirdre i was only eleven years old when she disappered i remember it well. Deirdre and her mum and dad and sister are in my thoughts at this time and always. Deirdre you will always be remembered and should never be forgotten.

Comments: Never did I imagine that so many people can simply vanish without a trace. i have just watched a special program on RTE in relation to missing persons and my heart goes out to the families, indeed to all families of missing persons.

I will do my utmost to increase awareness of this website and to ensure to the best of my ability that the faces of those missing are remembered.

Comments: I also wish to appeal to anybody mising from home and who are alive and well to please make contact with your family regardless of the reasons that have been holding you back from doing so. The pain of not knowing is a torture that no person should have to endure.The period of time you have been absent is of no consequence, it is never too late. Let that not be a barrier. REACH OUT.
